Our Commitment to Quality

  • 100% Forest Raised: Our pigs are raised in the forest, allowing them to live naturally and happily.

  • Fed a fermented Organic, Non-GMO, Soy & Corn Free Grain ration, Vegetables, Apples & Hemp.  This matters. Corn and soy-heavy diets create a softer, more inflammatory fat profile. By avoiding them, our pork develops a firmer, more stable fat with a healthier balance of fatty acids and higher omega-3 content.

  • No Antibiotics: Our pigs are raised without antibiotics, promoting natural health and wellbeing.

  • Whole & Half Hog Pricing
    Whole hogs: $7.99/lb hanging weight
    Half hogs: $8.99/lb hanging weight 

  • Includes standard cut and wrap.
    Custom processing (such as bacon and sausage) is additional.

  • This works out to approximately $12–13/lb for finished retail cuts, making it one of the most affordable ways to access healthy, organic-fed, pork.

Meet your farmers

Brian Lavoie and Nicole Du Vent are the stewards of Goonieland Permaculture Farm, home to Pure Mountain Pork. Perched on a bench west of Golden, BC, their off-grid homestead overlooks the stunning Columbia Valley.

They raise heritage pigs, free-range laying hens, vegetables, and hemp using a combination of organic practices and Korean Natural Farming methods—always with a focus on soil health, animal welfare, and ecological balance.
